Significant targets of the USAG Hohenfels
- Move the Garrison into full compliance with
all German Final Governing Standards (GFGS) as well as Host Nation
and DoD legislation and regulations with regards to pollution
prevention (P2), release of chemical and hazardous substances,
and environmentally and economically beneficial landscaping.

Responsibilities
To successfully implement the EMS, the USAG Hohenfels appointed
a Cross Functional Team (CFT) with members representing all functional
areas or core business areas of the installation. The CFT is chaired
by the EMS Management Representative (EMSR) who is responsible for
managing and observing the EMS implementation. EMS Management –
